PROJECT UPDATE

Cityforward & HOMI drive old Brussels transformation

August 19 - 2025

A city square with trees, flowers, and people walking and relaxing among modern multi-story buildings with retail and residential units.

Cityforward has recently concluded an agreement with Home Invest Belgium (HOMI) to acquire a prime portfolio in the European district of Brussels!

The portfolio consists of eight projects to be redeveloped to +/- 70.000 m² of sustainable housing. Today, the sites consist of obsolete office buildings occupied by the European Commission.

With this landmark deal, HOMI and Cityforward will transform the European district into a vibrant, mixed-use neighbourhood, reinforcing the project’s commitment to sustainable urban renewal.
