Whitewood AIFM becomes Belgium’s leading Fund Manager

July 10 - 2025

Dare we say it: Whitewood AIFM is now the largest fully AIFM-licensed real asset fund manager in Belgium.

And we have just strengthened that position by taking over management of our fifth fund, Star Galaxy, with just over €500 million under management.
From the outset, Whitewood has chosen to diversify the sources of funding for its projects.

Our ambition is to mobilise private capital and offer investment opportunities in real assets with an environmental and social impact.
With this in mind, we created Whitewood AIFM, a regulated platform offering a secure framework for investors.

Since 2024, we operate under a full AIFM licence, issued by the FSMA, the most demanding level of governance for alternative funds in Europe.
Star Galaxy is the fund encapsulating North Galaxy, the second largest office building in Brussels.

The building is fully leased by the Régie des Bâtiments and houses the SPF Finance.
In April 2025, Whitewood took over the management of North Galaxy.
At the same time, via our Whitewood AIFM-accredited structure, we took over the management of the Star Galaxy investment, transferring it from Luxembourg to Belgium.

A strategic partnership that marks a new stage for Whitewood AIFM, and a strong signal for the Belgian regulated fund ecosystem.
That's what Whitewood’s DNA is all about: making a tangible environmental and social impact through real asset projects.

To achieve this, we have built a structured and independent ecosystem.
